The role:

Support project delivery alongside senior management using SolidWorks

Produced design outlines, technical specifications, and BOMs aligned with customer needs

Contribute to diverse projects for an international client base in a changing industry

Maintained clear, professional communication with teams and stakeholders

Quickly built expertise in specialised products through targeted training
-
Worked collaboratively across departments to promote a unified team approach
What we are looking for:
-
Proven experience in a design engineering or senior draughting position
-
Formal qualification in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (Degree, HNC, or HND)

Confident user of SolidWorks and AutoCAD in a professional setting

Solid grasp of design for manufacture principles and practical application
-
Keen to expand capability in FEA and 3D structural analysis

Exposure to lifting or load-handling equipment would be beneficial
