We are seeking an experienced Asset Data Quality Manager to lead the development, governance, and assurance of asset information across our estate.​

This role will ensure asset data is accurate, structured, and compliant with industry standards, supporting effective maintenance, compliance, and investment decision-making.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-driven specialist with strong knowledge of CAFM systems, structured asset data standards, and ISO9001 quality frameworks.​

You will play a key role in enhancing data quality, shaping survey methodologies, and providing expert oversight of our asset information systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain asset data models, hierarchies, taxonomies, and data dictionaries.

Ensure asset records are accurate, complete, validated, and aligned to organisational standards.

Oversee the import, validation, and updating of asset information from surveys, contractors, and internal teams.

Conduct regular data quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Review and validate asset and condition survey data, ensuring adherence to data and naming standards.

Ensure correct use of structured asset data standards including Uniclass and COBie.

Provide oversight of CAFM platforms (e.g., Maximo, TRIRIGA, Planon, Concept) and manage integrations with BIM, IoT, and digital estate systems.

Establish and maintain governance processes for data quality within maintenance and compliance systems.

Collaborate with surveyors, engineering, operations, compliance, and IT teams to ensure accurate and consistent data flow.

Train staff and contractors on asset data standards, survey requirements, and system usage.

Manage the Quality Management System and Document Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO9001.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience managing asset registers and asset data within estates or facilities management environments.

Proficiency with CAFM platforms such as IBM Tririga, MRI Maximo, Concept, Planon, or Archibus.

Experience conducting or reviewing asset / condition surveys.

Strong data analysis, validation, and data quality assurance capabilities.

Advanced Excel or broader data management skills.

Strong understanding of asset management principles and ISO 55000.

Knowledge of Uniclass and COBie structured asset data standards.

Experience using Power BI or similar tools for reporting and performance insights.

Understanding of statutory compliance requirements and frameworks such as SFG20.

Strong MS Office skills.

Good working knowledge of ISO9001 and experience supporting or managing a Quality Management System.
