About the Role:We are supporting a number of primary schools across Bury who are looking to appoint enthusiastic, confident and committed Primary Instructors (Unqualified Teachers).
This role is ideal for trainee teachers who:
- Have completed their final assessed teaching placement
- Are currently finishing their dissertation
- Want to continue building classroom experience ahead of their ECT year
- Can confidently step into a class and lead learning with prepared lesson plans
As a Primary Instructor, you will:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Create a calm, positive learning environment
- Support pupils academically, socially and emotionally
- Work flexibly across schools in the Bury area
- Build confidence and skills that give you an advantage when applying for ECT roles
What We're Looking For
- Completing a BA (Hons) Primary Education degree (or equivalent)
- Completed your final placement in a primary setting
- Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
- Enthusiastic about supporting pupils across Bury
- Reliable, confident and professional
