Summary

To provide a Ranger service throughout the Highland area, to act as the eyes & ears for various Council services and to work in co-operation with other organisations, landowners and communities

Duration: Fixed term 20/5/26 until 28/10/26

The job will cover sites owned and/or managed by the Council and other partners, to promote the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.

The key role is working with visitors & residents to encourage responsible outdoor access.

You will work weekends and some evenings within a 35 hour working week. A vehicle will be provided for patrolling the assigned area only, but there will be no office base.
