SEND KS2 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting April 2026

Duties as SEND KS2 Teacher:
- Teach KS2 pupils with SEND needs full time using provided planning with no planning or marking required
- Deliver well‑structured lessons that support communication, independence, and emotional regulation
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning, sensory, and developmental needs
- Maintain consistent routines and promote positive behaviour
- Provide verbal feedback to support progress
- Collaborate with support staff and SEN teams to deliver personalised learning
- Support small‑group and 1:1 teaching as appropriate
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal SEND KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS2
- Strong SEND experience is essential
- Confident adapting lessons for mixed developmental stages and complex needs
- Effective behaviour and classroom management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, patient, and reflective in supporting SEND learners
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
