Summary
(Y)OUR OPPORTUNITY
Are you a visionary leader who refuses to accept "one size fits all" in education? This is a rare opportunity to steer two
distinct, successful, and deeply connected communities.
At the shared campus in Sidcup, we are doing something unique. We are looking for an Executive Headteacher to lead Cleeve Park
School, a thriving, oversubscribed mainstream academy and Cleeve Meadow School, a transformative specialist provision for students
with EHCPs.
This isn't just a management role; it’s a chance to bridge the gap between mainstream excellence and specialist care, ensuring
every student, regardless of their starting point, has a clear path to a brilliant future.
THE ROLE
As Executive Headteacher, you will be the driving force behind our evolution. Working closely with the Trust Board, Local
Governing Bodies, and dedicated Heads of School, you will hold the mantle for:
* Strategic Vision: Developing and executing a forward-thinking strategy that raises aspirations and outcomes across both
schools.
* Educational Excellence: Embedding a culture of high-quality teaching and rigorous curriculum design for every student,
regardless of their starting point.
* Inclusive Leadership: Championing a deeply inclusive ethos that celebrates diversity and ensures robust safeguarding and
pastoral support.
* Operational & Financial Oversight: Managing budgets sustainably and optimising our shared campus facilities to benefit the
entire community.
* Community Engagement: Building strong, transparent relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider local area.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a "leader of leaders" who thrives on nurturing talent and fostering a culture where both colleagues and students can
shine. You combine high expectations with emotional intelligence to inspire a diverse workforce. You will bring:
* A Champion for Pupils: You believe that every child deserves to shine. You are driven to equip pupils with the skills to
succeed and the desire to give back to their communities.
* A Curriculum Architect: You possess a sophisticated understanding of curriculum design, capable of balancing academic rigor in
a mainstream academy with the transformative, specialized needs of a SEND environment.
* Substantial Leadership: A proven track record as a Headteacher with a history of raising standards and delivering measurable
outcomes.
* Strategic Agility: The vision and ability to lead a school toward Ofsted Exceptional while navigating the complexities of both
mainstream and specialist landscapes.
* A Passion for Inclusion: A deep-rooted commitment to inclusion, underpinned by a strong understanding of modern educational
challenges and the SEND landscape.
* Exceptional Communication: The empathy to nurture future leaders and the presence to represent our schools to a wide range of
external audiences.
