Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASW - Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience to join our team in the Assessment & Safeguarding division. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals and families within our community. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide the best possible outcomes for service users. Your expertise will be vital in identifying risks and devising effective intervention strategies, as well as advocating for the needs and rights of your clients. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled social worker who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to determine needs and risks.
Develop and implement effective support plans tailored to service user requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
Monitor and review progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring their voices are heard in the decision-making process.
Maintain accurate and detailed case records, ensuring compliance with all legal and organizational standards.
Provide support and guidance to clients in navigating social services and community resources.
Requirements
A recognized qualification in social work and 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
Current registration with the relevant social work regulatory body.
Strong understanding of assessment frameworks and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Demonstrated experience in developing intervention strategies and care plans.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
