Summary
Provide bedside clinical teaching, coaching, and support to nurses working within the paediatric high dependency pathway Facilitate the development of competence in managing acutely unwell children and those requiring enhanced monitoring Support staff through formal and informal learning: simulations, skills sessions, competency signoff, and reflective practice Promote a positive learning culture that empowers staff and builds confidence Assist with identifying learning needs and developing structured training plans Ensure best practice, guidelines, and quality standards are embedded in day today clinical care Contribute to service development and education initiatives that enhance safety and quality Support new starters, student nurses, and internationally educated nurses as they transition into practice.
