Start Date: Term 5
Contract: Part‑Time, Fixed Term (until end of academic year)
Salary: MPS (Pro Rata)
A friendly and supportive primary school in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Part‑Time Year 6 Teacher to join the team from the beginning of Term 5 through to July. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner to guide pupils through their final term of Key Stage 2.
The RoleThe successful teacher will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Year 6 lessons
  • Marking, assessment and feedback
  • Creating a positive, structured learning environment
  • Preparing pupils for transition into secondary school


You will be teaching a challenging but rewarding Year 6 class, and you will have support from an experienced Teaching Assistant in the classroom.
What We're Looking ForWe'd love to hear from teachers who are:

  • Qualified (QTS required)
  • Skilled and confident with Upper KS2 curriculum content
  • Strong in behaviour management, with a calm and consistent approach
  • Passionate about supporting pupils' progress and wellbeing
  • Able to build positive relationships and motivate learners
