Summary

Randstad Education is looking for enthusiastic and patient Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistants for supply opportunities across a variety of primary schools and nurseries in Leeds. The Role of an EYFS Supply TA

In this role, no two days are the same. You will be supporting children aged 3-5, assisting with personal care, leading small group activities (such as phonics or messy play), and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can flourish.

Requirements

  • EYFS Knowledge: A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and developmental milestones.

  • UK Experience: You must have previous experience working within a UK educational or childcare setting.

  • Energy and Empathy: The ability to engage children through storytelling, outdoor play, and creative activities.

  • Reliability: Since schools rely on you to maintain ratios, punctuality and a proactive attitude are essential.
