Summary

Are you looking for a rewarding role that offers a fresh challenge every single day?

Do you want the flexibility to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools in Leeds?

Could your support be the turning point that helps a child overcome their barriers to learning?

Randstad Education is seeking empathetic, resilient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for supply opportunities throughout Leeds. We work with mainstream schools and specialist provisions that need your help to ensure every student has an equal chance to succeed.

The Role of a Supply LSA

As a Learning Support Assistant, you aren't just an extra pair of hands; you are a mentor and a guide. You will work 1:1 or with small groups of students who may have SEN (Special Educational Needs), SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges, or English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Requirements
  • Compassion: A genuine desire to support children with diverse learning needs.

  • UK Experience: You must have previous experience working within a UK educational setting and a solid grasp of how to support the UK curriculum.

  • Adaptability: The ability to walk into a new classroom and quickly identify how to best assist the teacher and the students.

  • Resilience: A calm, patient approach when dealing with challenging behaviour or complex learning hurdles.

The Benefits of Supply Work
  • Total Flexibility: Work when you want, perfect for balancing your own schedule or testing out different school types.

  • Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates paid into your account every Friday.

  • Professional Growth: Gain experience in various settings, from 1:1 autism support to general classroom assistance.

  • No "Take-Home" Work: Focus entirely on the students during school hours, with no planning or marking required.

Ready to Make an Impact in Leeds?

If you are a committed LSA with the essential UK experience required to support our local schools, we want to hear from you today.
