Summary
You will work within a team of up to five people, overseen by the Parks Team Manager, receiving daily instructions from a Team Leader.
Tasks will include:
• Strimming, mowing and leaf blowing.
• Cutting hedges, pruning, and maintaining flower beds.
This is a physical, outdoor role involving working in all weather conditions, manual handling and operating in environments with potential hazards such as uneven ground, traffic, dogs and insects.
You will receive training to enable you to do the role and given full PPE, you are also expected to be helpful, friendly and polite as a representative of SWISCo.

• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Drive and operate vans, plant, and small machinery safely.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications:
Skills and Effectiveness
• Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team, to include those from other teams and service areas.
• Effective organisational skills as well as being able to apply effective attention to detail.
• Ability to take direction and work in an inclusive manner
Essential Knowledge
• Effective knowledge of Health & Safety processes.
• Effective knowledge of how to operate plant and machinery such as mowers/hedge cutters.
Experience
• Experience of problem solving to successful outcomes.
• Able to demonstrate and in-still trust to staff members at all levels, clients/customers and the general public.
• Previous experience of operating plant and machinery
Qualifications
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
• Hold relevant plant and/or machinery operator licence, such as forklift truck.
