About Sancta Familia Catholic Academy Trust

Sancta Familia Catholic Academy Trust is a cross-phase family of Catholic schools serving communities across South London.

The Trust currently comprises seven schools (six primary and one secondary) educating more than 3,500 pupils and employing almost 700 staff.

Rooted in the values of love, service, humility and faith, our mission is to provide an excellent education for every pupil, every day.

The Trust has ambitious plans to grow to around 30 schools in the coming years, strengthening Catholic education across the region.

About the Role

The Director of Education will provide strategic leadership for education across the Trust, ensuring consistently high standards of curriculum, teaching and pupil outcomes.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Heads and Headteachers, the Director will help shape and deliver the Trust’s educational strategy and support strong collaboration across all schools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading Trust-wide educational strategy and school improvement
• Strengthening curriculum coherence across primary and secondary phases
• Ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and assessment
• Supporting and challenging senior leaders to secure strong outcomes
• Embedding the Trust’s Catholic ethos within educational practice
• Providing oversight of quality assurance, safeguarding and inclusion

The Director will play a key role in delivering the Trust’s ambition to become internationally recognised for excellence in faith formation, service, personal development and academic progress by 2030.
