Summary

During your placement within the Service Delivery Team, you will gain hands-on, practical experience in an IT support role within a public-sector organisation to expand and develop your transferable skills. This role offers an excellent entry point for individuals seeking a career in IT.

You will provide administrative and technical support to business areas across Qualifications Scotland and communicate with other teams and external customers. You will gain hands-on, practical experience in a dynamic public-sector organisation over your year’s placement to expand and develop your skills.



Responsibilities

Providing a high level of customer service, by responding to queries quickly and accurately, and building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Following administrative procedures and using Microsoft applications and organisational systems.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and recommending improvements to administrative and technical procedures and systems.
Maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information, ensuring information is up to date, stored securely and readily accessible.
