Summary
Job Title : Trainee or Junior Fire Installation Engineer
We wish to recruit an experienced part qualified / qualified Fire Engineer who is capable of installing.
We are looking to develop into a Fire Installation Engineer.
CAMS Fire & Security PLC has been established since 1984.
Certificated to NACOSS Gold approval for Security Systems and LPC LPS 1014 approval for Fire Alarm systems. To add to our team we require Fire Install Trainees who want to further their careers. We are expanding within our fire department and require Fire Engineers covering an area predominantly within a 50 mile radius of the Stevenage area working on a variety of premises including commercial and residential premises.
The main duties will include Installation Fire Alarms, Smoke Sensing Systems and some emergency lighting work.
You must have a clean full UK driving license.
We are looking for candidates who are practical and fit.
Duties and Values:
• You will be a vital ambassador for the company.
• You must be loyal.
• Capable of learning.
• Working at heights and confined spaces
• You will be shown to work to the relevant standards, BS5839 and BS6266, training will be given in this area if required.
• You must have a 'can do’ attitude and will be a willing part of a mobile work force.
• You will be polished, articulate, enthusiastic with a sense of drive.
• You will implement work orders provided by the office and remain adaptable and dependable under time pressure.
• You will maintain records of works done.
• We install other systems other than Fire Alarm Systems, where there is on the job training.
• You will maintain a safe work environment at all times by following all relevant standards and procedures.
• You will update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities made available through the company and reading technical publications.
• You will be reliable, punctual and driven to succeed, a desire for learning and self-improvement
