The Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning and develop socially and emotionally.

Your responsibilities as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant will include :
• Supporting pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH needs, & communication difficulties
• Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions
• Assisting teachers in delivering adapted and inclusive lessons
• Supporting pupils with emotional regulationand behaviour strategies
• Helping implement EHCP targets and behaviour support plans
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists
• Creating a safe, positive, and structured learningenvironment

Ideal Candidate : We are looking for graduates who are:
• A recent graduate (2:1 or above) in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related subject
• Passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient
• A strong communicator and team player
• Interested in gaining school-based SEN experience
• Previous experience in SEN support, care work, tutoring, coaching, or youth work is advantageous but not essential
• Must have the right to work in the UK
