Ideal Candidate – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

• Minimum 2:1 degree (Psychology, Education, or related subject preferred)
• Strong interest in inclusive and SEN education
• Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
• Confidence working one-to-one with pupils
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience with children or SEN advantageous
• Right to work in the UK

The Role

In this position, the Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to deliver personalised support for pupils with additional learning needs. You will assist with differentiated activities, promote positive behaviour strategies, and encourage emotional regulation within the classroom.

The Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant will also liaise with the SENDCo to help identify barriers to learning and contribute to tailored interventions that foster inclusion and long-term progress. Each day will bring opportunities to build meaningful relationships and celebrate small but significant achievements.
