Under the leadership of the Student Recruitment and Outreach Manager, the role will involve delivering presentations to large audiences of students, parents, carers, and teachers, as well as organising events and outreach activities for school/ college students to gain an insight into life and studying at the University of South Wales. The position will also involve the line management of three Schools, Colleges, and Outreach Officers.

The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills, be able to innovate and forge partnerships, have experience of delivering activities for young people, and be flexible and hard-working.

Please note that this role is student recruitment-focused, and experience of working with 14–19-year-olds is essential. Applications from HR recruitment consultants will not be considered unless they are able to evidence relevant experience of student recruitment within a FE or HE context and/ or secondary education.

This position is based at Pontypridd Campus, University of South Wales, however the post-holder will be expected to work remotely and from the University’s other campuses when required. Please note that extensive travel is required as part of this role, and the post-holder will be required to work weekends and evenings.

Benefits on offer include 35 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays and closure days, family-friendly policies and generous pension scheme.
