Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Dermatology team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 4 administrator.

This role supports the coordination of dermatology biologic therapy pathways and biopsy booking processes, ensuring patients receive timely, safe, and well-organised care. Working closely with clinicians, patients, carers, and administrative colleagues, the post holder will play an important part in maintaining effective communication, accurate records, and a positive patient experience.

• Coordinate the full patient pathway for dermatology biologics, ensuring timely approvals, prescriptions, safe treatment processes and accurate records.
• Manage the administrative processes for biopsy bookings, including scheduling, monitoring waiting lists, and ensuring compliance with Trust protocols and national targets.
• Act as a central point of contact for patients, carers, GPs, dermatologists and other healthcare professionals, providing accurate information and reassurance.
• Ensure effective communication and smooth running of biologics and biopsy bookings, contributing to a positive patient experience.
