What You'll Be Doing:
• Leading the SEND department—strategising and delivering exemplary SEND support
• Overseeing EHCP processes, interventions, provision mapping, and outcomes tracking
• Coordinating multidisciplinary collaboration with staff, families, therapists, and agencies
• Coaching and upskilling teachers in adaptive, inclusive classroom practice
• Monitoring and reporting on SEND impact—raising attainment for all learners
• Shaping school policy, culture, and professional learning in SEND provision

Ideal "SENDCO" for this Islington School:
• Qualified teacher (QTS) with proven SENDCO experience
• Expertise in statutory SEND requirements—EHCPs, Code of Practice
