Summary

Contact Harlow is the first point of contact for all Council Services and we are looking to recruit a full-time Customer Advisor for our busy front line team, working on a one year fixed term contract.

We require someone who will provide a consistently high quality of customer service for all types of enquiries from our customers in an efficient, pleasant and helpful manner using a range of IT packages.

You will therefore have excellent customer service skills and the relevant experience to match.

The main activity of the role is dealing with customer enquiries in our call centre. You will also deal with in depth face to face and online enquiries and provide general information on our reception desk. There may also be some cash receipting in a ‘banking’ style environment.

You will be expected to work 7.5 hours per day Monday to Friday in the office from 8.45am to 5.00pm with 45 minutes for lunch. This is to cover our opening hours of 9am to 4.45pm.

If you think you are the person that we are looking for and if this is a role that interests you, we would love to hear from you.

For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Jenna Harvey – Duty Manager – 01279 446085
