Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a special needs school in Walsall? We are recruiting for a well‑established specialist setting that supports children with a wide range of additional and complex needs.
About the RoleThis Walsall‑based SEN school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who can:
- Support pupils with complex learning needs, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties
- Work closely with teachers and therapy teams to deliver personalised learning plans
- Assist with sensory activities, communication strategies and structured routines
- Create a calm, nurturing, and consistent environment
- Provide personal care when required (training provided)
What We're Looking ForWe welcome applications from candidates who:
- Have SEN experience supporting children or young adults in a special school, PRU, or specialist provision
- Are confident working with pupils with autism, physical needs, sensory needs, SEMH, or PMLD
- Can remain calm, patient, and adaptable in a variety of situations
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
