Summary

Looking for a job where you’ll be part of a well‑established team and make a real difference to our customers? You might be our next Fire Alarm Tester.

In this role, you’ll help keep our customers and colleagues safe by carrying out weekly fire alarm tests across our buildings. You’ll follow all safety requirements and internal procedures, while representing the organisation in a positive, professional way.

Your day-to-day tasks will include things such as activating alarm tests, checking manual call points, making sure sounders, panels, and interface devices are working properly, and recording everything in our compliance system. With a good eye for detail, you’ll note down any issues and let customers know what’s happening and what might need to happen next.

About You

You’re someone who can make sensible, evidence-based decisions and spot risks or opportunities for improvement.

You’ll be working with lots of different people across the organisation, so being confident, clear, and collaborative is important.

We’ll give you a tablet to receive your jobs while you’re out and about, so basic IT knowledge is helpful — but don’t worry, we can train you.

You’ll also get a company van, so you’ll need a full driving licence.

We review applications as they come in and may close the vacancy early if we find the right person. If the role sounds like a good fit for you, apply now.
