A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Exeter is looking for a committed Primary Inclusion Support Assistant to join their supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who have additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and speech & language challenges, helping them access learning and feel confident in the classroom.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Assisting pupils with EHCPs during lessons and key transition times
- Supporting teachers by adapting activities and learning materials
- Encouraging communication skills and positive peer interaction
- Monitoring progress and feeding back to teaching staff
- Helping maintain a structured, calm, and inclusive classroom environment
You'll play a vital role in ensuring every child feels supported, understood, and able to thrive.
- Experience supporting children with SEN (in school, care, or similar settings)
- Calm, patient, and positive approach
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Confident supporting individuals and small groups
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Competitive daily rate of £85-£95
- Supportive and welcoming school team
