At our client, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a primary school in Exeter, Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled individual who is eager to make a lasting impact on the lives of young learners.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of our school's inclusive and supportive learning environment. Your role will involve working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to provide individualised support and care for students with diverse learning needs. This may include assisting with lesson planning, implementing personalised learning strategies, and helping students with daily routines and activities.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of SEN and a track record of working effectively with children who have a range of special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, families, and the wider school community.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing academic, emotional, and social support to students, ensuring they reach their full potential. This may involve leading small-group activities, supporting individual students, and collaborating with teachers to create inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
