Up to £120 per day | Long Term Role (Temp to Perm)

Long Term Futures are recruiting a committed and resilient SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a secondary school in Haringey, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a rewarding long-term opportunity for someone confident supporting students who require additional emotional regulation, behavioural guidance and structured support to access learning successfully within a mainstream secondary environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group SEMH support across KS3 and KS4
- Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour management
- Assist pupils in lessons and during unstructured times
- Implement strategies linked to behaviour and support plans
- Work closely with pastoral teams, SEN staff and subject teachers
- Promote resilience, engagement and positive outcomes

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting students with SEMH or behavioural needs
- Confidence working in a secondary school setting
- A calm, consistent and patient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Background in mentoring, youth work, SEN or pastoral roles (desirable)

- Accessible via Turnpike Lane, Wood Green and Seven Sisters (Piccadilly & Victoria Lines)
- Overground access via Harringay Green Lanes and Bruce Grove
- Bus routes: 29, 41, 67, 123, 141, 230, 243
- On-site parking available (school dependent)
