This is a leadership role for a chef who values quality, organisation and team culture.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will lead all culinary operations for weddings and private multi-day events of up to 140 guests.

Guests stay onsite for two nights, and catering includes:

  • Welcome meals


  • Breakfast services


  • Canapés


  • Evening feasts and buffets


  • The main event dining experience


    You will have full ownership of:

    • Seasonal menu development


    • Kitchen management and standards


    • Food safety and compliance


    • Supplier relationships


    • Budget control and GP management


    • Team leadership, training and rota planning


      This is an events-led environment where precision, presentation and forward planning are key.

      About You

      We’re looking for:

      • Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up


      • Excellent leadership and team development skills


      • Strong organisational and forward-planning ability


      • Solid financial understanding (food cost control & budgets)


      • Passion for modern British cuisine using quality seasonal produce


      • Calm and confident leadership during service


        Own transport is essential due to the rural location near Liskeard.
