Bangor Castle Museum is seeking a reliable and dedicated cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in helping us maintain a welcoming, safe, and hygienic environment for visitors, staff, and the wider community.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning of all designated areas within the Museum, consistently ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
These areas may include:
- Offices
- Toilets and washroom facilities
- Public spaces and galleries
- Associated accommodation and staff areas
You will be expected to use the appropriate cleaning equipment and materials provided, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and deep cleaning tasks across assigned areas
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
- Replenish supplies where required
- Assist in preparing the Museum for events, including setting up and ensuring spaces are clean and presentable
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
