As a Catering Assistant in our Bangor Aurora team, you’ll play a key part in delivering a welcoming, safe, and high‑quality experience for our customers. Your work will help ensure that our catering services run smoothly and create a positive impact on the community we serve.
You’ll support a busy catering operation, helping us provide great food, excellent service, and a customer experience we can be proud of. You’ll contribute to a safe and compliant environment, help maintain exceptional standards, and create moments that matter for every visitor.

What you’ll do as a Catering Assistant
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Follow company Health and Safety procedures and meet all Food Safety legislation requirements.
- Adhere to all Food Safety Management System processes and complete required documentation.
- Carry out and record temperature checks and maintain high standards of food hygiene. Prepare food and beverages in line with café menus and presentation standards.
- Maintain stock levels across café and vending points to meet service demand.
- Promote and maintain brand standards at all times.
- Apply good housekeeping principles, completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Follow financial procedures including cash handling and till reconciliation.
- Work flexibly across both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas to meet service needs.

Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Experience in a food retail or service environment.
- Strong customer care and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, allergen awareness, and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) processes.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- Confidence with basic financial procedures and cash handling.
