As a Cleaner in our Leisure team, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and spotless environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Your work ensures customers enjoy a clean, hygienic, and enjoyable space where our services can thrive.
You’ll play a meaningful part in supporting the local community by helping maintain a facility that families, individuals, and groups rely on every day. Your care and attention will help create positive experiences and support a healthier, more active future for all.

What you’ll do as a Cleaner
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building.
- Provide a safe working environment when handling cleaning chemicals.
- Follow all Health and Safety requirements while colleagues and customers are onsite.
- Work to cleaning schedules and ensure checklists are accurately completed.
- Manage and maintain stock levels, keeping records up to date.
- Clean and return all equipment used.
- Maintain an understanding of the facility to support customers with general enquiries.
- Complete any additional tasks requested by a supervisor or Duty Manager.

- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to work independently and prioritise effectively.
- Experience in a similar cleaning role or environment (full training provided).

Vetting and checks:
A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
