Your new company
Our client is a well-respected defendant law firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting a Motor Injury Supervisor to join their Manchester or Birmingham offices. Applicants must be qualified solicitors with a minimum of 1+ year PQE in motor injuries. Previous supervisory experience is required. A very competitive salary up to £50,000 is available dependent on experience.
Your new role
This Motor Injury Supervisor role will see you:
- Manage a reduced caseload of motor injury claims, including litigated fast‑track personal injury files and small claims, often arising from road traffic accidents
- Provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to junior fee‑earners, ensuring high-quality technical work and consistent development.
- Navigate and apply civil court procedures (CPR) effectively within litigation strategy.
- Utilise strong knowledge of the MOJ Portal and OIC processes in progressing claims.
- Work independently to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Deliver excellent communication and client care to insurer clients, self‑insureds and commercial organisations.
- Use case management systems and IT tools effectively to maintain accurate and efficient file progression.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with full litigation rights (Essential)
- Experience handling litigated fast‑track personal injury and small claims, particularly RTA-related.
- Defendant personal injury experience (preferable)
- Strong understanding of court procedures, CPR, MOJ and OIC processes.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers or paralegals.
- Strong organisational, communication and client relationship skills.
- Proficiency with legal IT systems and case management technologies
