Summary
We are looking for a 2nd person to work with another PA who has just started with us, caring for our 8 year old daughter. The role will be Saturdays for 5 hours (some flexibility on the odd occasion if needed). The role will involve spending time with our daughter at home or taking her out to social places such as parks, soft play, swimming, visiting attractions etc. Ideally need a driving licence to drive her to and from places so driver with business insurance preferred. (mileage will be paid for any outings).
Our daughter has a diagnosis of ASD with PDA profile and ADHD. At times we can experience some challenging behaviours therefore 2:1 ratio is in place to ensure additional support is available if needed.
Very caring, fun and sociable child who loves anything animals related, outdoors and crafts. Enhanced DBS will be required upon employment or ideal if already have one in place. Initially this can be with parent's home for settling in sessions until you and our daughter get to know each other and happy to be left. We are based Midsomer Norton, hourly rate of pay £15 per hour. Flexibility to be able to work Sunday instead of Saturday on the odd occasion helpful if we have family commitments but will be by prior agreement with yourself.
