Long Term Futures are searching for a nurturing, caring and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to work with one of our partner mainstream primary schools in Potters Green, Coventry.

This is a 1:1 role supporting a Reception child who has been diagnosed with ASD and is based within a specialist, well-equipped resource hub within the school. You will be working alongside a supportive team of Teaching Assistants and an SEN teacher. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
- Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
- Experience: Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis in a primary school setting.
- Skills: Experience supporting SEN, including ASD and Speech, Language & Communication Needs.
- Knowledge: A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and maintaining, updating and reviewing progress of EHCPs.
- Located in Potters Green, Coventry CV2.
- Mainstream primary school with a specialist SEN resource hub.
- Supportive team of Teaching Assistants and SEN staff.
- Well-equipped provision designed to meet pupils' additional needs.
- Strong focus on inclusion and nurturing support.
