Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them develop greater independence? We're working with a specialist further education setting in Coventry that provides tailored support for learners with a range of SEND needs, and they are looking to welcome dedicated Learning Support Assistants to their team.
The Role
You will be supporting students aged 16-25 with a variety of learning needs, including:
- Autism
- Communication and interaction needs
- Physical disabilities
- Complex learning needs
- Social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Helping students access learning and develop life skills
- Working collaboratively with tutors, therapists, and wider support teams
- Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience in SEND, care, or support work
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- A genuine passion for helping young people progress
- Willingness to support with personal care if needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
