    The Role – Clinical & Leadership Focus

    This is a hands-on Head Nurse position combining leadership and clinical excellence.

    Your duties will include:

    • Overseeing and monitoring admitted patients

      
      

    • Anaesthesia monitoring and surgical support

      
      

    • Assisting vets in theatre and consults

      
      

    • Blood sampling & IV catheter placement

      
      

    • Nurse-led procedures including dental descaling

      
      

    • Running nursing clinics

      
      

    • In-house laboratory work

      
      

    • Discharging patients and client communication

      
      

    • Accurate record keeping (inpatient charts, anaesthetic sheets, insurance paperwork)

      
      

    • Supporting infection control (instrument autoclaving, bedding, uniforms)

      
      

    • Supporting and guiding the nursing team

      
      

      About You

      • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Veterinary Nurse

        
        

      • Confident leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues

        
        

      • Highly organised with excellent communication skills

        
        

      • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care

        
        

      • Positive, adaptable and solution-focused
