Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30
Workshop Engnieer required for a growing supplier of lifting equipment and cranes. You will be joining a well-established company who have won awards recognising their commitment to great service, growth and technology.
Candidates will need experience working with 12/24v DC systems and motors and will hold a minimum of a level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject. This role would suit candidates with experience working with plant, automotive or similar equipment, however candidates with transferable experience from any industry are encouraged to apply, as are ex-forces candidates.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, calibrating and testing electrical safety systems on the company’s machinery prior to sale or hire. You will also be responsible for carrying out PDI inspections and tests for all incoming and outgoing machinery.
Workshop Engineer Role:
· Installation, calibration and testing of safety systems
· PDI inspections and testing before and after rental
· Diagnosing and rectifying faults
· Workshop based
Workshop Engineer Candidate:
· Experience with 12/24v DC
· Experience with motors
· Hold a level 2 (or equivalent) in engineering subject
