Location: Mobile role covering Central to South East, focused around the M42 corridor including Solihull, Birmingham, Coventry, and Leicester.

We are seeking a proactive and practical Fabric Technician to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse building portfolio.​

This mobile role is client-facing and requires someone confident working independently while representing the engineering services function with professionalism.

Job Description

We are looking for an individual with strong fabric maintenance experience and a background in plumbing, supported by basic electrical knowledge.​

This role plays a key part in ensuring buildings operate safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Comply with all relevant Codes, Regulations, and Company Policies related to building operations and work safety.

Complete general maintenance and repair tasks including lighting replacements, fittings, and minor electrical tasks.

Carry out fire alarm tests, emergency lighting checks, and water hygiene maintenance activities.

Undertake minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and general fabric repairs.

Support with furniture assembly, equipment moves, and cleaning or clearing of general areas as required.

Maintain external property areas, including seasonal grounds maintenance.

Act as the first point of contact in emergency situations impacting building operations.

Ensure professional presentation and deliver excellent customer service at all times.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.

Basic electrical knowledge (e.g., lighting, minor testing).

Water treatment testing experience.

Strong general fabric maintenance background.

Ideally from a plumbing background with competency in minor electrical tasks.

Previous experience working within an FM environment.

Practical, proactive, and self-driven approach to work.

Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.

Must hold a valid UK driving licence (regional travel required).
