About us
We are a UK manufacturer of personalised gift products. We design, produce and dispatch in-house, and we are introducing new product ranges throughout the coming year.
We also invest heavily in technology. We use agentic AI and in-house AI automation systems to speed up product launches, create high-quality listing content, generate product/lifestyle imagery, and analyse sales performance. You do not need previous AI experience—we will train you—but you must be enthusiastic about learning modern tools and working in a structured, results-focused environment.
The role
This is a trainee position for someone who wants to build practical skills in e-commerce, product listing creation and performance optimisation.
You will help create new product listings and improve existing listings across our online sales channels. Your work will directly impact sales, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys learning, problem-solving and steadily improving results.
Key responsibilities
Create new product listings: titles, descriptions, variations, personalisation instructions, pricing and lead times
Use AI tools to produce first-draft listing copy and imagery, then refine it into accurate, customer-friendly content
Produce and manage listing images, including product images and lifestyle-style visuals (templates and training provided)
Maintain and improve existing listings by updating images, structure, keywords and copy based on performance
Use sales/traffic data to identify issues and opportunities, then apply changes and track outcomes
Work closely with our production team to ensure listings accurately reflect the products we manufacture (sizes, materials, turnaround times)
Keep product information organised and accurate (spreadsheets, SKUs, variations, internal systems)
Training and development
Full training is provided on site, including:
Our products, production methods and listing standards
Marketplace fundamentals (including SEO basics and platform rules)
How to use AI responsibly for e-commerce content (speed with accuracy)
Our internal agentic AI and automation workflows for research, drafting and optimisation
How to read performance data and make continuous improvements
There may also be the opportunity to work towards accredited industry qualifications, depending on suitability and progression.
What we’re looking for (essential)
Excellent written English (clear, correct, customer-friendly writing is critical)
Good numeracy skills (comfortable with prices, basic calculations and accuracy)
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Confident PC user
Comfortable using Google Sheets and/or Excel
Fast learner with a genuine willingness to be trained and coached
Positive outlook and reliable approach to work
Motivated by a results-driven, performance-linked pay structure (no upper limit)
Desirable (not required)
Any experience with Etsy, Shopify, eBay, Amazon or similar platforms
Any experience with Canva or basic image editing
Interest in e-commerce, marketing, product launches or analytics
Pay and progression
This role starts part-time and can move to full-time as you demonstrate capability and consistent results. Pay is National Living Wage plus a performance-linked structure with no upper limit for someone who develops into the role and takes ownership of outcomes.
