Summary
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a proactive and highly organised SSWI Curriculum Allocation Coordinator to support the effective delivery of in-class support for students with additional needs. Working closely with the Curriculum Inclusion Coordinator and the FE SEND and Inclusion Manager, this role is key to ensuring students receive the right support, at the right time, while maintaining high-quality provision across the curriculum.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and monitoring support arrangements that enable students to achieve positive outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
Allocating and coordinating in-class support for students with identified additional needs, ensuring timely and cost-effective provision in line with budget and income targets.
Providing leadership and line management to a team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), including performance monitoring development.
Ensuring the efficient deployment of support staff and learning resources across curriculum areas to meet student needs.
Monitoring and reviewing the quality and impact of support provision, using robust systems to track student progress, independence, and outcomes.
Maintaining accurate records, staff timetables, and referral processes to ensure support is allocated and reviewed effectively.
