Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS3/KS4 English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in English Language and Literature in line with the UK National Curriculum, supporting students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills. The role includes preparing students for GCSE examinations (AQA, Edexcel or OCR), teaching key texts, developing exam techniques, and ensuring students make measurable progress. You will plan and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners, including students with SEND and EAL, assess progress through regular formative and summative assessment, and provide clear, constructive feedback. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management, effective communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive and academically ambitious learning environment.
