We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised academic support to GCSE students. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for education and a genuine interest in helping learners achieve their full potential.
Ideally a final-year student studying towards a Teaching Degree (BA/BSc with QTS or equivalent) !
Strong understanding of classroom practice, safeguarding, and child development
Ability to support leadership and contribute to high-quality teaching and learning
Commitment to professional development

Duties
Deliver customised tutoring sessions in specific subjects, tailored to individual student needs
Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and understanding complex concepts
Develop engaging lesson plans and educational materials to enhance learning experiences
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate
Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and motivation
Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational professionals to support student development
Skills
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with children or young learners
Strong communication skills, capable of explaining concepts clearly and patiently
Experience with special education needs is desirable but not essential
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
Organised with excellent time management skills to plan effective sessions
