Contract: Permanent, Full timeWe are seeking an exceptional Deputy Head (Pastoral) to lead behaviour, wellbeing, and attendance across the School, creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment in which all students can thrive. As the Designated Safeguarding Lead and the School’s Mental Health Lead, the Deputy Head (Pastoral) champions the highest standards of pastoral care and safeguarding.They will line-manage all Heads of Year and Heads of House, overseeing key pastoral events and ensuring these are seamlessly integrated into the whole-school calendar. As a vital member of the Senior Leadership Team, they work closely with the Head and Bursar and Deputy Head (Academic), and as part of the Senior Management Team, they collaborate with the Head, Bursar, and Deputy Head (Academic), Assistant Head (Pre Prep), and Assistant Head (Operations). Reporting directly to the Head, the Deputy Head (Pastoral) plays a central role in shaping and sustaining the School’s pastoral strategy and culture.
