Summary

Join us as a Health, Safety & Environmental Consultant

  • You'll be providing first class safety, health and environment advice and training to a diverse range of business clients and industry sectors

  • While this is a remote first role, you'll be expected to travel around Kent, which may include overnight stays where required
  • We're offering between £42,075.00 - £49,500.00, with a car allowance of £6000, plus pension funding

What you'll do

As a Health, Safety & Environmental Consultant, you’ll be delivering excellent service to a variety of clients, conducting regular client visits and developing and using an effective strategy. With exceptional communication skills, you’ll build an understanding of needs of your clients to provide the right advice, consultancy and training services.

You’ll also be:

  • Managing an ongoing case load of work
  • Identifying and delivering additional consultancy and training services for customers
  • Appropriately identifying customer need to generate additional income
  • Making sure that any information, advice and guidance is suitable, appropriate, technically correct, relevant and communicated in a clear way

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with a health and safety or environmental qualification, CMIOSH or equivalent, with extensive post qualification experience. You’ll need to work with high standards of attention to detail and be able to deliver excellent service, and you’ll have experience of identifying customer needs.

You’ll also need:

  • Diverse sector, industry and generalist knowledge
  • Excellent time management skills with the flexibility to serve customers in a way that suits their needs
  • The ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements
  • The communication skills to liaise with regulatory bodies or legal counsel
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel, which may include overnight stays
