Summary

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water Framework team based from home but with travel to site in Thame and Gerrards Cross office.

Location: Thame, Oxfordshire - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role within our commercial team, assisting in the commercial management of our Water Framework project. You'll be empowered to use your expertise to deliver excellent results while collaborating with a supportive team that values your contribution.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:

• Managing valuations, project cashflows, and preparing detailed monthly cost/value reports

• Ensuring compliance with procurement strategies and managing subcontract processes

• Providing expert contractual advice and handling documentation professionally

• Driving commercial initiatives and developing margin improvement plans

• Mentoring junior team members in a collaborative and supportive environment

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

• You hold a construction-related degree qualification

• You have a full UK driving licence

• You bring commercial experience working with a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure

• You're familiar with various contract forms and their applications

• You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building relationships across teams
