Summary
Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification The post holder will undertake diagnostic examinations in accordance with IR(ME)R and department protocols: to be responsible for the authorisation and justification of examinations for plain film imaging relevant to the post to produce images of diagnostic quality using the lowest possible dose About UsOur Radiology department is made up of 8 X-ray rooms, 5 CT scanners, 3 MRI scanners, 10 Ultrasound machines, an IR suite and 8 theatre machines. As well as 2 mammography machines and two OPG machines, one of which has CBCT capabilities. Our services are spread out across our Main Guildford site and 3 community sites in Milford, Cranleigh and Haslemere. This year, we are working on our Interventional strategy which will hopefully see us moving from 1 to 3 interventional suites in the next 5-10 years and restructure the whole department to improve the experience and service we can provide to our patients.
