Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: These responsibilities will be carried out under the guidance of the head of the Diagnostic Radiology Physics Group. Research Radiology Review Service 2.1 Provide specialist radiological imaging knowledge and radiation dose information to the clinical research units and commercial sponsors. This requires the post holder to be actively involved in all matters concerning diagnostic and interventional radiology exposures of patients. 2.2 Provide information to the clinical research units and commercial sponsors on the requirements for research exposures arising from UK legislation, the Health Research Authority etc. 2.3 Provide, in collaboration with the clinical research units, accurate and timely synopses of the type and frequency of radiological exposures required by research study protocols and undertaken as part of routine clinical care. 2.4 Provide, in collaboration with the clinical research units, radiation statements for inclusion in the participant information leaflet as required.
