Your new company
Our client is a highly regarded national claimant firm, consistently ranked as a top‑tier practice, with numerous departments and individuals recognised by Chambers & Partners. They are recruiting for a 4-8 PQE serious injury solicitor/lawyer to handle their own caseload of serious/military injury claims. This is a hybrid role where you can expect 2-3 days of WFH each week, dependent on client needs. This role is based in Manchester.
Your new role
As a Serious Injury Lawyer, you will:
- Manage your own caseload of civil litigation claims, primarily involving serious injury and military‑related matters.
- Assist senior solicitors on high‑value, complex injury cases including NIHL, bullying/harassment, and other military‑related personal injury disputes.
- Take a proactive and thorough approach to casework, contributing to the continued growth of the team.
- Work both independently and collaboratively, participating in business development initiatives and supporting the wider team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive
- 4-8 years PQE in civil litigation, personal injury, or serious injury work.
- Strong experience managing a mixed or complex caseload (military or NIHL claims experience is beneficial)
- Empathy and compassion, with the ability to support clients in highly sensitive and challenging circumstances.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with clear, confident communication.
- High levels of self‑motivation and the ability to work autonomously.
- A collaborative mindset and team‑focused approach.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
