Summary

Key Account Manager - £28,000 - £29,000 + £6,000 OTE per annum
We are Mantra Learning, the UK’s leading Logistics learning and development organisation. We are an Ofsted grade 2 independent training provider who have specialised in providing training within the sector for over 56 years. The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.
Through our two key brands, The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy we help thousands of individuals each year to gain new skills. This enables our learners to obtain employment within the logistics sector and drives the long-term growth of the industry.
We work with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Aldi, Wincanton and AO, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 2500 Large Goods Vehicle licences and 1,100 Forklift Truck licences each year. The organisation is dedicated to deliver interventions that develop the ‘Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours to enable learners to thrive in life and work’.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our friendly team. The position is full-time, working 37.5 hours a week based in Middleton, Greater Manchester. You will additionally be required to travel nationally.
Role
The Key Account Manager grows our apprenticeship programmes by building strong employer relationships and matching workforce needs with practical training solutions. You will secure new apprenticeship opportunities, manage key accounts, and ensure employers and learners receive excellent support.
Your duties will include but won’t be limited to:
Build, maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
Liaise closely with the delivery team to ensure your client's wishes are communicated effectively so a tailored approach is offered
Regular review meetings with depots and distribution centres to ensure smooth running of the apprenticeships and potential opportunities for new learners
Cross sell other products, seizing all opportunities to offer clients a well-rounded service
Use customer relations management system to support prospecting and to update relevant information held in the system
Keep the prospect pipeline updated and accurate
Liaise with Development Coordinators and Operations to prevent early leavers and highlight potential issues
Provide overview of apprenticeship programme presentations to key customer contacts and prospective apprentices
Onboarding of new apprentices
Monthly review of accounts

Skills & Qualifications
Educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalent




Experience

IT experience, including use of Word, Excel and Database.
Experience of working within a field-based Business Development / B2B role.
Proven experience of negotiating / winning / closing new and repeat business.
Proven experience of working towards and achieving targets.
Use of CRM database
