Action Staffing Ltd is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a thriving childcare setting in the Bromley area. This is a senior leadership position for a professional dedicated to maintaining high-quality Early Years education and fostering a nurturing environment for both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Ofsted & Compliance: Maintain "Inspection Ready" standards by upholding all statutory requirements and EYFS guidelines.
Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners, managing recruitment and professional growth.
Parental Partnership: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with parents and the local Bromley community.
Safeguarding: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and ensure all health and safety policies are strictly enforced.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (Level 5 or a Degree in Early Years is highly desirable).
Experience: Proven experience in a Nursery Management or Deputy Manager role within a UK setting.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current Ofsted frameworks.
Location: Ideally based in or able to commute easily to Bromley, Hayes, Shortlands, or surrounding areas.
