Summary

Nursery Manager – Up to £45,000 – Brand New Nursery!

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to join a brand-new, purpose-built nursery designed with dedicated rooms, modern resources, and outdoor space. You will take responsibility for compliance, Ofsted readiness, staffing ratios, and the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring strong foundations and high standards as the nursery grows.

What You’ll Need

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Experience as a Nursery Manager in a day nursery setting
  • Proven involvement in Ofsted inspections
  • Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
  • Confidence managing staff performance and operational budgets

Desirable

  • Level 5 or above in Early Years or Leadership and Management
  • Experience opening or commissioning a new nursery

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the overall management of the nursery, including staffing, ratios, and budget oversight
  • Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections, maintaining required standards
  • Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS compliance
  • Recruit, supervise, and appraise staff, supporting performance management
  • Monitor occupancy levels and maintain sustainable staffing structures
  • Build professional relationships with parents and external agencies
