Nursery Manager – Up to £45,000 – Brand New Nursery!
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to join a brand-new, purpose-built nursery designed with dedicated rooms, modern resources, and outdoor space. You will take responsibility for compliance, Ofsted readiness, staffing ratios, and the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring strong foundations and high standards as the nursery grows.

What You’ll Need
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience as a Nursery Manager in a day nursery setting
- Proven involvement in Ofsted inspections
- Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
- Confidence managing staff performance and operational budgets
Desirable
- Level 5 or above in Early Years or Leadership and Management
- Experience opening or commissioning a new nursery
What You’ll Do
- Lead the overall management of the nursery, including staffing, ratios, and budget oversight
- Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections, maintaining required standards
- Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS compliance
- Recruit, supervise, and appraise staff, supporting performance management
- Monitor occupancy levels and maintain sustainable staffing structures
- Build professional relationships with parents and external agencies
